I just checked the NAR Real Estate Statistics for
projected home sales and its looking good for the Woodbridge VA area.The national
projected homes sales for April 2015 rose to $4.9 million up from March’s
numbers.The National home price is up
2.5% from last month and 7.6% from last year! This puts the National Real Estate Median Price at $203,000 up from
$199,000 for March 2015 median home prices.
In the Woodbridge Virginia Real Estate numbers, we have seen
107 new listings in April from April 1 to April 8.The median price for newly listed (Woodbridge
homes listed in April so far) at $355,158. In this same time frame, April 1-April 8, Woodbridge had 31 home sales,

This is how it looks outside my front door this morning. Snow in Woodbridge VA, snow in the DC area is a disaster. Mostly everyone freaks out about a little bit of snow and no one knows how to drive in the snow. Well that’s not or mostly not the drivers faults but cars are not really equipped for snow in this area. Growing up I remember my dad changing tires before it got cold. We used to have summer and winter tires. Not so in this area.
Anyway as a contrast this is a picture from where I grew up in Switzerland. They had snow over the holidays. Growing up we had snow like this and much more, I don’t recall one single day where we didn’t have to go to school.
Looking at my Facebook Feed this morning everyone freaking out about Prince William Schools being open. One inch of snow really isn’t anything and shouldn’t close down schools.
Yesterday after the gym I stopped at the grocery store, as I needed some fresh fruits and vegetables. I was surprised that all the shelves where empty. At that point I realized a snow storm was in the forecast and when that happens folks around here stock up as if there were no tomorrow.
Regardless of how crazy everyone gets when we get a little bit of snow, I love living in this area. Wouldn’t want to be anywhere else, except maybe Florida during the winter time.
In Arlington you can get a 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom condo. Condo fees for this home are affordable at $512.62. Arlington is a perfect location for anyone what wants to be close to the Nations Capital, close to or within walking distance to public transportation, restaurants and shops.

Dale City Farmers Market has an summer farmers market as well as a winters farmers market. There are always great vendors there. I personally love the fresh bread they are selling there and of course in the summer all the fresh fruits and vegetables.
The Dale City Farmers is located at the corner of Minniville Rd and Dale Blvd, at the Dale City Commuter Lot right behind Comcast.
The Dale City Farmers market is held every Sunday from 8 am to 1 pm.
Lake Ridge Farmers Market
The Lake Ridge Farmers market is relatively new and is held every Friday from 3 pm to 7 pm. June through November. The Lake Ridge Farmers Market is held in the Lake Ridge Parks & Recreations Association parking lot at 12619 Oakwood Dr. Woodbridge VA 22192.
