The Soccer World Cup is in full swing and I have to admit I miss being back home and watching the games at public viewings or in a bar with many other soccer fans. So today I went on a quest of where to watching the soccer world cup in Woodbridge VA. There are many bars that were showing the world cup, but I wanted to go somewhere where there was a crowed of people watching. Today was the perfect day to find a good place in Woodbridge VA, since the US was playing.

I ended up watching the game at Brittany’s in Lake Ridge. There were quite a lot of US supporters. I was happy to see that soccer is slowly but surely catching on. Well slowly. I wasn’t however aware that you can smoke inside Brittany’s. Great game and great win for the US.

My team is Germany and I am hoping for them to win the group. I loved seeing my team pull out a great win earlier in the day.

It is 5 O’clock somewhere. Over the past couple of weeks I have tried a couple of new happy hour places in Woodbridge VA. Granted they are not new, but I haven’t been to them for happy hour before. Also there are many many more excellent happy hour place, this is just some that I have tried and can highly recommend. 
 
Happy Hour at Not your Average Joe’s. I went to Not your Average Joe’s the other day with a friend for Happy Hour and I was pleasantly surprised. They offered great food and great drinks all at reasonable prices. Not your Average Joe’s is located at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center with many other great places, which I still have try out for happy hour. I have eaten at pretty much all of the Stonebridge Restaurants and they are all great, so I am definitely looking forward trying out happy hour as well. 
 
Another Woodbridge VA Restaurant that is great for Happy Hour is On The Border. They have a wide variety of drink choices, great margaritas in all kind of flavors and also a great happy hour menu. My friend introduced me to The On The Border Queso and I wish she would have never told me about it, it is soooooo good that I wasn’t able to stop eating and thinking about it. So are the avocado chips, simply delicious. 
 
Bahama Breeze at Potomac Mills also offers a great happy hour with live music. You can take a date to Bahama Breeze enjoy the music and not break the bank. Food and drinks are great. 
 
There are many more great places for Happy Hour especially with the nice summer weather. Tim’s River Shore a local favorite is a great place to enjoy happy hour.
