Over the summer months we have seen many more homes come on the market, but fewer buyers out there. Sellers are finally breaking even or making a profit on their homes and after waiting for a long time many of them have been deciding to list their homes for sale.
 
Homes will still sell quickly as long as they are in good condition and priced right but over the summer months with many buyers being on vacation homes haven’t moved as quickly as some sellers have been hoping for. With buyers coming back from vacation I have seen a change and I had multiple homes go under contract within the past few days.With interest rates still being very low there are many buyers that want to take advantage of the low rates and purchasing their first time Woodbridge VA and surrounding area home or their move up or move down Woodbridge VA Home.

 
With more sellers now breaking even there will be much more competition in several of the Woodbridge communities. Chances are that yes you are seeing more for sale signs in your neighborhood these days. Since prices have increased in the Woodbridge VA and surrounding area Real Estate market more sellers are now breaking even or making money when selling their homes. Even if they are just barely breaking even some are still considering to sell now and to either move to a bigger home in the area or move back closer to family or in one of my clients case realize their dreams and move to Hawaii.
When the Real Estate Market hit rock bottom many Woodbridge VA and surrounding area home owners were under water with their homes, meaning their home wasn’t worth the money they initially paid for the home. It has been a long time coming but we are seeing more sellers buy and sell at the same time. These home sellers should not have problems selling their Woodbridge VA Home as there is quite a lot of activity in the lower price segment.
